About the job
As a driver for the absenteeism department, you will be responsible for safely and promptly transporting migrant workers to medical appointments, including doctor and dentist visits, physiotherapy, or hospitals. Additionally, you will ensure smooth communication (by excellent translation) with both the employees and healthcare providers. You contribute to the quick return of workers to their jobs by supporting them during their recovery process. Once there are no medical appointments, you will be a driver for our employees to bring them to work and back home. Roles and responsibilities:
- Pick up and transport migrant workers who are absent due to illness to medical appointments.
- Communicate with healthcare providers to ensure all appointments are properly followed.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as completing forms for sick leave and keeping track of medical appointments.
- Keep the absenteeism coordinator informed about the status of the workers and any noteworthy updates.
- Provide a safe and comfortable ride for all passengers, with attention to their well-being.
- Offer support to migrant workers who may face language barriers in understanding medical information.
- Pro-active in reaching out to “rijden” department to offer your assistance in driving other passengers once you have no appoitments scheduled and/or room in your daily schedule.
What is required
- Valid driver’s license (category B).
- Good command of both Polish and English. Knowledge of another language, such as Portuguese or Romanian, is an advantage.
- Customer-oriented, empathetic, and able to interact with diverse cultures.
- Flexible availability, with a willingness to work outside office hours when needed.
- Basic administrative skills and digital literacy.
- Strong organizational skills, responsibility
